Personal Ponies, Alabama!

OK, so they aren't Labs! They ARE cute though!!

A couple of years ago, Karlene learned of a very special program through a friend of hers. Personal Ponies, Inc. is a very special organization that makes magic in the lives of children with special needs. We believe that the lives of these children are immeasurably enriched by having a small equine companion to love and care for, so we provide the ponies on a lifetime loan free of charge. It's a wonderful, special and unique organization, and Karlene is the Alabama State Director.

In order to promote the program throughout the state. we have brought three promotional ponies and one goat into our lives! These ponies are sweet, good-natured and so much fun! We take them all kinds of places, and beleive it or not, we transport them in our mini van while we try to raise funds to buy a horse trailer! (PPL is a 501(c)(3) organization, so if you'd like to contribute to the purchase of a trailer or donate one you happen to have already, your donation is completely tax deductible. Just contact me!)

We take the ponies all kinds of places. We hope that as word gets out, we'll be invited to take the ponies throughout the state to events, schools, nursing homes or on home visits. If you'd like more information about Personal Ponies in Alabama, just ask!
